He feels her jump beside him and laughs quietly. “You’re adorable.” As they make their way down the stairs, he gives her a quick kiss before releasing her and heading to the door to get the food. He greets the pizza guy politely and takes the food from him with a smile. Taking it into the kitchen, he sets it on the counter and looks toward the couch where the boys and Renee are situated.

“Alright. Pizza’s right here. We’ll be back later. Don’t know when.” He announces to the group. Larry then looks to his wife with a smile. “Ready?” He asks, certainly prepared for their evening alone. They haven’t had time to themselves in a while. With their earlier estrangement and ultimate separation, this is a night that they both need, especially after a long work week and Ally’s extended week. He jingles his keys on the tip of his index finger as he waits for his wife.

       “FOOD!” Julian exclaims upon seeing the boxes of pizza being set down onto the counter, and s c r a m b l e s off the couch excitedly, before waving at his parents. “Okay’s, see you guys later!” He finishes before opening the box and snagging a slice of the pizza onto his plate, with a bit of difficulty, though he manages just fine. The little boys reaction earns a snicker from Ally as she walks over to Larry and nods. 

“Yep, completely ready – see you boys later, and thank you, Renee.” She calls back to her friend. Without waiting for Larry, the blonde instantly opens the door, and walks out of the house with a peck to his cheek. “C’mon handsome!” She says, while heading towards her husbands car with her hands stuffed into her pockets. A night to themselves was an excellent idea, that was for damn sure, and much needed after everything considered.
