Larry heaves a sigh and leans across the table to give her a tender kiss. “I love you.” He mumbles into her lips, their fingers still tangled together. After he pulls away, he makes himself comfortable and continues examining her carefully. “You’re not that difficult to deal with. I’ve pretty much got you figured out. Although, some days, you still confuse me.” He admits with cheeky grin.
Larry had never gotten to know a person as well as he knows Ally. He didn’t deem anyone worthy in the least. Not that his attention was something to strive for, but every relationship he’s ever had has never lived up to or compared to what he and Ally have. The two of them just make sense in his eyes, not matter how horrible they’ve been to each other in the past.
Ally grins broadly against his lips, a soft hum floating out from within the depths of her chest. “Mm, I love you too.” She murmurs, the blonde’s peaceful expression remaining solidly in place as she stares over at him with a l o v i n g glint in her eyes. “Well, if I didn’t confuse you at least a little bit, I’d have to start thinking that I’m not doing my job right.” Ally then comments with a snicker falling from her. Of course, she was in the same boat, where Larry was concerned after all – he had always confused her.
With the type of person Ally was, she t r i e d to get to know everyone she held dear and close to her heart, rather well – though none of them, did she know even remotely as well as she knew her husband. Then again, that was the point after all, they’d promised to spend the rest of their lives together. It’d be kind of awkward if she didn’t know her husband at all.
