As he settles into his seat again, the waitress comes forward with their meals and he gives her a polite smile before she walked away to attend to the rest of her tables. He looks down at the appetizing dish and his mouth waters in anticipation. “I didn’t even go all day without food and I’m starving. Maybe I need to work out more.” He says, though he feels that to be an unnecessary sentiment. He had always been remarkably fit.

Though, his self esteem had plummeted considerably when Ally slept with Nathan. Over the years, she had helped him rebuild his confidence– especially in regards to how she saw him and how he made her feel. But he still carries lingering doubts no matter how small. Larry picks up the burger and takes a large bite from it, the combination of tastes sending his palate into a frenzy of delight. “I haven’t had a burger in so long.” He says once he chews down the burger and washes down with a sip from his Coke.

      Ally watches him briefly, and lets out an amused giggle, before plucking one of the steaming fries off the plate in front of her. “Mhm, definitely s t a r v i n g, so we’re both on the same page.” She states with a bright smile, while chewing manically at the fry, the zesty taste instantly sending her senses into a complete frenzy. “Mm, so good…” Of course, given her lack food during the day, she would have been thoroughly satisfied with just about anything. 

Her eating habits had always been slightly on the erratic side, mostly due to her sheer inability to f o c u s on one thing half of the time, but since their crumbling marriage had gotten worse – so had her lack of proper nutrition. “Neither have I, then again – I’ve been eating a lot of salads lately…” She murmurs after having chewed down the fry, and quickly moves on to picking up the burger on her plate. Without much pause, she then d e l v e s on in, and takes a sizable bite to chew at that as well.
