Throughout the previews and the entire movie, he keeps her nestled closely against his side and steals kisses every now and then. And when the movie starts getting good, he is silently thankful that he’d gotten popcorn as he and Ally had both begun munching on it periodically until it was completely gone. Once the lights finally come back on after the movie ends, he takes the last full of his drink and smiles down at his wife.
“That was pretty good, I’d say.” He nods, crumpling up the empty bag of popcorn and keeping it clutched in his hand to toss into a trash can on the way out. He wasn’t too big on Batman or anything to do with Batman, but he rather enjoyed the villains he saw on screen. It was an interesting take, he thought, on a super hero movie. “I still like the Avengers, though.” He says with a nod as he sits forward and stretches his muscles.
“Uh huh, Avengers means Iron Man, so I approve.” She states instantly, while smirking slightly as she stands from her seat with a soft g r u n t as her joints pop, after having been confined in the same position for the past hour or so. Once she was done stretching, the blonde reaches back and grabs her now empty cup from the built in coaster, and watches as the crowd r u s h e s down the stairs – which given how many people were now trying to cram their way through the doors, she was in no real hurry.
“It was a fantastic movie though, definitely lived up to the hype that’s for damn sure.” Ally comments with a bright smile as she peers down at her husband and clears her throat. “Though I a g r e e with you there – I was never a big DC fan, I mean Batman was cool, but Superman was corny to me.” With that statement, Ally rolls her shoulders absently and chews idly at the inside of her cheek. She had never quite understood the logic behind Superman, if truth be told.
