Larry rattles the ice around in his cup and looks toward the exit where people had now been crammed. “I hate superman. He’s a cheater. How can someone be so invincible that only a rare element weakens you? It’s not fair. He’s the worst.” He shakes his head in dislike and opens the cup and dumps the remainder of the ice into his mouth. Chomping down on it, he smiles at her and fastens the lid back on.
“Anyways, yeah it was pretty good.” He finishes off his complaint with a smile, still crunching on the ice. Once the theater’s crowd dissipates more, he takes Ally by the hand and guides her down the aisle so they can leave. “I wonder if the kids are asleep. It’s not very late, but knowing them, they passed out hours ago, probably.” He says with a soft laugh, making his way through the throng of people with his wife.
“See, for me – I’ve never been a fan, though I watched the really old movies, and it seemed to a l w a y s baffle me that glasses were made to be a cloak on Superman’s identity. By day, Kent wears glasses – but during a crisis he ditches the glasses and rushes out in a skin tight superhero outfit, that doesn’t even cover his face, and somehow looks totally different? I think not.” Ally huffs out, with a chuckle to follow the conclusion of her statement, and she shakes her head absently while Larry chews away at the remainder of the ice in his cup.
Upon being lead down the stairs, to the entrance of the theater, Ally chuckles at his inquiry about their children and looks up at him. “Oh, I’m sure they’ve all crashed – or they are really c l o s e to it.” Ally says with a smirk, while swiftly maneuvering her way through the sea of bodies that l i t t e r e d the entrance. “I am pleased that the movie turned out to be really good, would have been kinda bummed had it not been.” That was putting it lightly, given how much she was looking forward to the movie to begin with, though it wouldn’t have come as a shock – so many movies looked good from the previews, but that was about the extent of the highlights.
