I probably just pissed off a sea of crybabies…
Since maybe the first week since Pokemon Go has been out, I’ve seen nothing but people flooding posts about cheaters, and how it’s ruining their game play. So after almost a month of me keeping my mouth shut, I came across a reply on Facebook that was finished with “signed a good honest player,” and went off.
My post to one particular comment on one of these MILLION threads.
“Lol, “signed a good honest player.” – thanks for clarifying that part, otherwise I would have completely missed it. You are what us gamers call an Elitist. You feel the need to stress that you play the game by the books, therefore you’re better than everyone else, and have the need to remind everyone at least five times in your unstructured, poorly written, statement. It’s if you feel that saying it once didn’t suffice. Kudos to you, play your game as you play your game, and quit whining?
Furthermore, for you gaming noobs out there in the cheap seats bots/hacking/cheating is not a new concept in the gaming world, it’s been around for decades. It’s actually kind of beautiful actually, someone spends a lot of time coding these things, and they’ve come a long way in the ability to cloak themselves – but I digress.
Why did I refer to you guys as “noobs”? Because I see the same individuals constantly whining about botters/hackers/cheaters every single day, which informs me that you haven’t played enough games in your life, to realize that it’s rampant in almost every game imaginable. And guess what, the threats of permanent bans have been issued in all of those as well, yet ( sometimes years later ) the botters/hackers/cheaters are still there.
To the OP you spend more time complaining about how these “horrible” people are ruining your gameplay, yet, I fail to see how you could possibly be spending too much time playing said game in order for it to even remotely do such a thing. The incessant whining is ruining the game for you, give yourself a pat on the back, you’re part of the problem.
It’s just a game, quit working yourself up and realize that in six months, you will have probably lost interest and will be whining about something else.”
Like damn, I tried to keep my mouth shut, because I knew I would offend some illiterate fuckwit, but damn – stfu already with the “they’re cheeeeeating, ban them, it’s ruining the game for everyone.” boohoo bullshit. All I wanna do is catch them all, I give zero fucks about gyms or worthless eggs, if the makers of Pokemon Go would fix the obvious issues with the game there’d probably be less people turning to other methods to enhance their gameplay?
Honestly, I kinda feel like a 12 year old typed up that post that I went off on – and they’re probably crying to their parents, asking what a NOOB is. xD
