Larry follows Indy into the room and sees the dog frantically searching for his friend. He leans against the wall and feels a fresh wave of tears burning at his eyes. He sinks to the floor and the dog quickly moves toward him, whining quietly. “He’s not here, pal.” Indy lies at his feet and continues to whimper, his tail drooping sadly. Larry pets the dog silently, tears falling into his lap.

How could his son be gone? Was it a cruel joke? Was it some sort of payment for his misdeeds in the past? What could he have possibly done to deserve this torment. For Julian to be ripped away from his family in the blink of an eye. Marty walks slowly into the room, yawning softly and sitting next to Larry. He leans against the dog and stifles a sob in his fur, holding onto him for dear life.

Eventually, Ally pushed her way up off of the ground and looks down at Katie’s peacefully sleeping form, a sigh coming from her. “I envy you, little one.” She says softly, before turning to walk quietly from the room, her eyes drifting towards Julian’s now open door; the painful squeeze of her heart causing her to turn and head downstairs. She couldn’t do it. Ally couldn’t go into his room, a room that was filled with Julian’s presence, and yet he was GONE. He wasn’t spending the night with Luke, he wouldn’t be coming home

Once her feet hit the bottom floor, she felt a know new wave of sorrow wash over her as she brings her hand up to rub vigorously at her eyes. She desperately tried to think of something to do, something to keep her mind off of what had transpired earlier that night, so instead of letting her mind rest on Julian; she starts cleaning, with mindless movements. Stark sits at the foot of the stairs, watching her with curious eyes.
