Larry nods and nuzzles her cheek, his eyes closing to prevent his tears from falling. “I don’t know if the DA will let me get involved with their case but I’m sure you’ll be called to testify.” He sighs and kisses her cheek gingerly. Larry snakes his arms around her waist and inhales her comforting scent.

“Yeah, I think we might have to go down and talk to someone unfortunately. And I definitely don’t want to take Matthew. So I think we should fill in Renee and drop the kids off there.” He takes in a deep breath, reaching up to caress her cheek gently. “I love you.” Larry’s thumb moves gently across her cheek, rough finger caressing smooth skin.

       “Yeah, conflict of interest and all.” Ally replies, her breathing coming out in a shaky rasp. That would be a whole different feat for her. Having to sit in front of jury and tell them about her sons last hours, then explain how those men had come out of nowhere, leaving them all to be sitting ducks. Wasn’t the first thing on her to do list, but if it meant that the people responsible would pay, she’d do it in a heartbeat without thinking twice.

Absently, Ally leans into his touch, her lips twitching slightly as she nods at his statement before clearing her throat. “Yeah, I’ll give her a call here in a minute. Though I’m not quite sure if Matthew is going to want to go anywhere, Katie still hasn’t made a peep either.” She states, biting lightly onto her lower lip as she revels in the soothing swipe of his thumb along her skin, her eyes falling closed. “I love you too.”
