“I know.” His fingers trace patters into her neck as he nods down at her. “We both have a tendency to close ourselves off, and I hope it doesn’t come to that.” He says softly. At the sound of the door being knocked, he looks up as she stands. Larry accepts her kiss happily and smiles. “I love you too, gorgeous.” He watches her walk away from him and leans into the couch cushions.

Renee’s help would be gladly appreciated over the next few days. He didn’t necessarily want to leave their kids with her, as he was sure they were both feeling very protective at the moment, but having them around all of the sad preparations for their son’s burial wasn’t something he wanted either. Larry adjusts the watch on his wrist and sighs as he looks across at all of their family photos along the walls.

Upon opening the door, Ally is instantly met with Renee, who wrapped her up into a tight embrace. The blonde tensed, clenching her jaw tight to keep from gasping out as the hug caused her arm to to send a shockwave of pain throughout her body. She didn’t say anything though, knowing that Renee was simply consoling her, and was completely unaware of anything more than what she’d told her about Julian’s passing. “Hey Renee…” she says softly, using her good arm to hug the woman back.

She was always grateful for Renee’s help with their children whenever they needed it, truth be told, she was one of the only people that she trusted to watch their kids. Aside from Nathan, though she’d actually been making an effort to refrain from calling him for every little thing, since she knew how Larry felt about him being around. Not that she could blame him, entirely. “We appreciate it, Renee…”
